Three veterinary hospitals operate under the Grama Panchayat, providing services such as animal healthcare, disease diagnosis, treatment, and vaccinations. The staff at the hospital includes a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, an Assistant Field Officer, two attendants, and a part-time sweeper. Additionally, a veterinary sub-centre functions at Koolimuttam, where a Livestock Inspector and a casual part-time sweeper provide essential services to the local livestock rearing sector. A mobile veterinary unit is also in operation.

Krishi Bhavan is functioning at Therambam Center to provide knowledge about modern agricultural technologies and scientific farming methods to the farmers under Madakathara gram panchayat.
